Hi, I’m Leon. I was born in 2020 as my mum and dad’s first eagerly awaited child. I got 9 points!
Unfortunately, during my first week, we had to go to the hospital because I was turning blue while feeding. They ruled out many causes and diagnosed me with silent reflux. My mum quickly noticed that I was quite floppy. We started exercises early, even though the GP said that all children are just different.
I still do a lot of exercises. We live in the UK, but every two months, we travel to Poland for therapy sessions. When I was 2 years old, I managed to stand on my own feet. And recently, I learned how to jump!
I have trouble with speaking—words don’t come out of my mouth easily. But I try my best! My mum patiently repeats everything for me, speaking loudly and clearly. Everyone keeps telling me that I’m amazing and that they love me so much.
I started joining GRI family last October, as a GRIN1 superhero.
Recently, I became a big brother! I hope my little sister will love water as much as I do!

Abel
Abel was born on February 15, 2021. (Literally in the middle of a blizzard). My pregnancy and birth was normal, there was never a sign that anything was wrong.

Dean
Dean was born a healthy baby. Around the time he was two to four weeks old, we started to notice some odd movements. They were like a startle reflex (where you hear a loud noise and get startled). But Deans were more exaggerated and repetitive. They were randomly happening throughout the day.
