Brand Use Policy for CureGRIN Foundation
Purpose
Our logo, colors, fonts, and other branding elements are vital to maintaining the integrity and recognition of CureGRIN Foundation. This policy outlines how these elements can and cannot be used to ensure they reflect our mission and values accurately.
1. Authorized Use
You may use our branding elements only with prior written permission for the following purposes:
• Official partnerships or collaborations.
• Approved promotional materials related to our events, campaigns, or initiatives.
• Media coverage with appropriate context and credit to CureGRN Foundation.

2. Prohibited Use
The following uses of our branding are strictly prohibited without express permission:
• Altering our logo (e.g., changing colors, adding effects, resizing disproportionately).
• Using our branding for personal, commercial, or unrelated purposes.
• Associating our brand with fundraisers, messages, organizations, or initiatives not aligned with our mission.
• Reproducing our branding on merchandise, advertisements, or other materials without approval.
3. Visual Guidelines
• Logo: For clean, consistent and professional purposes, do not skew, rotate, stretch or add drop shadow to the logo.
• Colors: Use only the approved color palette.
• Typography: Stick to our official fonts.
If in doubt, refer to our official Branding Guidelines or reach out for clarification.
4. Reporting Improper Use
If you notice unauthorized use of our branding, please report it to info@curegrin.org. We will take appropriate action to protect our intellectual property.
5. Enforcement
Improper use of our branding may result in:
• A formal request to cease use and remove materials.
• Legal action if misuse continues or damages the reputation of CureGRIN Foundation.

Update: After deciding to include all of the genes, we asked our community if we should change our name. The overwhelming response was to keep our name the same but simply because we were already well known as CureGRIN. As an alternative to changing our name, we updated our tagline and logos to reflect that all of the genes and receptors are represented by our foundation. We are “CureGRIN Foundation: Seeking treatments and cures for GRIA, GRID, GRIK, and GRIN Disorders.
