Request for Proposals: Advancing Research for Treatments and Cures in GRI Disorders

CureGRIN Foundation is announcing an opportunity for funding to support research focused on treatments and cures for disorders associated with genetic mutations in ionotropic glutamate receptors (iGluRs) including GRIN, GRIA, GRIK and GRID genes (GRI Disorders). This award may support laboratory supplies, personnel costs, services, or the purchase of equipment necessary to conduct the proposed research.

Thanks to the dedication and support of families around the world, we plan to invest $200,000 in this round of funding!

The deadline to submit applications is February 15, 2025.

Duration and Budget 

  • Maximum total costs of $25,000. CureGRIN Foundation does not pay indirect costs.
  • CureGRIN welcomes collaborations between labs (eg. for multiple $25,000 grants) as long as each project could stand on its own if it were the only funded project.
  • CureGRIN Foundation does not pay indirect costs.
